Operation Sceptre- Knife sweeps

🔪 Operation Sceptre – Knife Crime Awareness Week 🔪

From Monday 17th November to Sunday 23rd November, Operation Sceptre will be running across the country — a national initiative focused on tackling knife crime and promoting community safety.

During this week, police forces will be working with local communities, schools, and partner agencies to:

🔍 Carry out knife sweeps and targeted operations
🚫 Encourage the safe surrender of knives through amnesty bins
🗣️ Educate young people on the dangers and consequences of carrying a knife
👮‍♂️ Provide visible patrols and community engagement opportunities
